THE KEY ELEMENTS OF SUCCESS IN THE MMSN FRANCHISE SYSTEM

Training: Most new MMSN franchisees do NOT come to us with an extensive background in either business or nutrition. Therefore, we put together a comprehensive training program in both areas.

There are three components to our comprehensive new franchisee training program, i.e. 120-160 of pre-training followed by an intensive 6-day new franchisee school, and ongoing on-line training for franchisees and their employees. This training covers a wide range of topics; building a business plan, and getting the Certified Fitness Nutrition Coach™ designation program, creating the customers "in-store experience", business management, marketing, sales, etc.

Pre-Opening Support Services: MMSN’s corporate or field support team assists each new franchisee ALL the steps to opening their new business, including site selection, store build out, initial marketing plan, grand opening events, hiring personnel, etc.

Post-Opening Support Services: Once a new store is open, MMSN continues to provide strong support to each franchisee through store visits with a dedicated field support team. They mentor and share time tested and proven ideas for local promotion, merchandising advise, employee motivation and retention, etc.

On-going Support Services: A very comprehensive operations manual, weekly system-wide conference calls (80% participation by our franchisees), a very useful “franchisee only” website, individual guidance, monthly information packets with suggested marketing and sales promotions, a fantastic annual meeting, hundreds of free copies of Max Sports & Fitness (MMSN’s monthly magazine) for local marketing, etc.
